According to the FBI, mortgage fraud schemes typically involve material misstatements, misrepresentations, or omissions relating to a real estate transaction which are relied upon by one or more parties to the transaction. This e-case explores the story of a former entrepreneur from the mortgage industry who found himself entangled in a multi-million dollar mortgage fraud case.
